Tweety Bun Bento

My eldest son was unwell, so he stayed home and I only made one bento for his little brother.

I used the same recipe in my previous steamed bun post, but this time I put ham and cheese filling. For the tweety face, I used cheese, nori, and carrots.

Details as below : 

Inside the box :
1. Tweety ham and cheese bun
2. Corn on the cob
3. Hatching chick hard boiled egg (with black sesame seed and carrot)
4. Mini arancini ball (recipe here)

And he had apple cuts for recess. Yum!

Phineas Croissants Bento

For me, these croissants look like phineas from Phineas and Ferb, Disney characters. I just filled up the croissants with ham and cheese, then cut them into two. I put these eyes food picks (affiliate-link below) to make them "alive". Very simple yet cute indeed!

My kids love the written banana. Just score the banana peel with sharp knife, and it will turn brownish in few minutes. 

Sponge Bob Sandwiches

My eldest son asked me to make sponge bob themed for his lunch. The sponge bob sandwich consists of : ham and cheese sandwich, yellow and white egg sheets, crab stick, bread crust, and nori.

For my eldest son, I prepared :
1. Sponge bob sandwich
2. Fried pork dumpling with ketchup
3. Broccoli and carrot sticks
4. Sultanas
5. Kiwi fruit for recess

And for my younger son, I prepared :
1. Sponge bob sandwich
2. Fried pork dumpling with ketchup
3. Broccoli and carrot sticks
4. Sultanas
5. Strawberry yogurt for recess

Nobita

Nobita is Doraemon's best friend. I love watching this movie when I was little. Just to bring back the memories :) In this bento I prepared :
1. "Nobita" sandwich (ham & cheese sandwich, eggsheet, and nori)
2. Tamagoyaki
3. Home made chicken nugget
4. Milk jelly with coconut jelly and basil seed

Doraemon and Hello Kitty

Famous Japanese cartoon characters : Doraemon and Hello Kitty. Details as below :

For my little one, I prepared :
1. Hello Kitty sandwich (ham & cheese sandwich, eggsheet, and nori)
2. Corn on the cob
3. "Car" shaped jelly
4. Kiwi fruits

And for my eldest one, I prepared :
1. Doraemon jaffle (pressed sandwich, eggsheet, carrot, and nori)
2. Corn on the cob
3. Ham "flower"
4. Broccoli and carrot sticks
5. "Shell" shaped jelly

Winnie the Pooh

This bento consists of :
1. Winnie the Pooh onigiri (white steamed rice coloured with turmeric powder, nori, eggsheet, red capsicum)
2. Char siu pork slices
3. Broccoli
4. Milk jelly with coconut jelly and basil seed
5. Banana for recess

Rilakkumas

These fast and easy Rilakkumas are made of croissant, my kids favorite bread.
Details as below :

For my youngest son, I prepared :
1. Rilakkuma croissant (croissant, cheese, ham and nori)
2. Halves boiled egg
3. Corn on the cob
4. Sausages
5. Lettuce and carrot
6. Kiwi fruit

And for my eldest son, I prepared :
1. Rilakkuma croissant (croissant, cheese, and nori)
2. Hard boiled egg decorated with nori punched
3. Corn on the cob
4. "Candy" sausage
5. Broccoli, lettuce, and carrots

Angry Bird Star Wars

The idea is from my son's favorite game : Angry Bird Star Wars. It consists of :
1. "Angry bird" sandwich (eggsheet, bread crust, nori, carrot, and black sesame seed)
2. Kellogs nutri-grain
3. Hard boiled egg
4. Broccoli and carrot sticks
5. Ham "flowers"

My Melody and Cute Owl

For today's lunch box, I prepared My Melody bento for my kindy son, and Cute Owl bento for my Year 2 son. Detail as below :

This bento consists of :
1. Potato chips and nuggets with "cute owl" on top (carrot, eggsheet, nori, and black sesame seed)
2. Corn on the cob
3. Ham rolls
4. Broccoli and cheese

And this bento consists of :
1. "My Melody" (hard boiled egg, ham, and nori)

Pokabu

Pokabu/Tepig is the fire pig Pokemon.But I used different colours in this bento..

In this bento, I prepared :
1. Steamed rice with Pokabu on top (eggsheet, white egg, and nori)

3. Chicken karaage
4. Stir fried baby corn and mushroom
5. Leaf carving zucchini and baby carrot.
