Perfect Couple

Happy Valentine's Day!! Still with Valentine's day theme, today I prepared "Perfect Couple" bento for my boys. I asked the boys to choose. My eldest son chose the boy, and my little one chose the girl bear (because he loves the bow tie pasta).

Details as below :

This Girl Bear version consists of :
1. Stuffed sandwich with strawberry jam filling (Bow tie pasta and nori)
2. Heart shaped hard boiled egg and sausages
3. Corn on the cob
4. Carrot sticks
5. Dried sultanas
6. Kiwi fruit for recess

The Boy Bear version, consists of :
1. Stuffed sandwich with strawberry jam filling (black sesame seed and nori)
2. Heart shaped hard boiled egg and flower sausages
3. Corn on the cob
4. Carrot sticks and broccoli with cheese on top
5. Dried sultanas
6. Mini carrot cake

Onigiri Bear

It's been awhile since I used my rice mold. It's my last resort when I kinda run out of ideas :) The box contains :
1. Onigiri Bear (white steamed rice, cheese, crab stick, and nori)
2. Fride rice vermicelli with vegetables and fish balls
3. Crab stick
4. "Checker" Granny Smith apple
5. Mint leaf

Bear Brothers

This bento consists of :
1. Bears onigiri (white steamed rice, soy sauce, cheese, and nori)
2. Heart-shaped & flowers sausage
3. Tamagoyaki
4. Lettuce and carrot sticks

Little Bears Onigiri

This bento consists of :
1. Little bears Onigiri (steamed rice, eggsheet, nori)
2. Stir fried baby corn with mushroom
3. Hard boiled egg
4. Carrot "flower" and zucchini ribbon
5. Ham "flower"

For bears rice mold and flower cutter, I used :

Loved Bear

This one I made for my kindy son. It consists of :
1. Stuffed bear (sandwich, nutela, Milo Duo - vanila, nori, carrot, cheese)
2. "Mouse" hard boiled egg (nori, carrot)
3. Sausages
4. cheese sticks
5. "Leaf" zucchini

To carve the zucchini and cut the heart shape, I used similar tools like these :

Stuffed Bear Halloween

For my preschooler son, I made this stuffed bear halloween for his lunch box. It consists of :
1. Stuffed bear sandwich (sandwich filled with Nutella, Coco Pop for eyes & nose, and nori for the web).
2. Corn on the cob
3. Tulip sausage
4. Half boiled egg with bug stamp on it
5. Apple
6. Lettuce and baby carrot

Sleeping Teddy Onigiri

I cooked fried rice and molded it with cling wrap to make a Teddy bear shape. And decorated it with nori, cheese, and carrot. And put omelet as his blanket.

In the other side, I put :
1. Corn on the cob
2. Ham flower
3. Broccoli, cucumber, and carved carrot as a rose.

The red box consists of Onigiri Bear, corn on the cob, broccoli, sausages, "mouse" hard boiled egg, baby carrots, and lemon wedge.

Bear Sandwich Bento

I made this bento box for my pre-school son, so it's just simple and not too many fillings.
It consists of :
1. Bear sandwich and little square sandwich with carrot flower and cheese on top.
2. Egg roll filled with furikake
3. Ham roll filled with stringbeans.
4. Prawn fried with panko breadcrumb
5. Broccoli, carrot flower & butterfly
6. Green grapes

1. Bears onigiri (the brown color is from soy sauce).

    top.

3. Two Octopus sausages
4. 2 hatched chick quail eggs
